The Happy Camp Complex Fire burning in Siskiyou County continues to grow.

The blaze in the Klamath National Forest has grown to more than 63,847 acres and is 15% contained.

Mandatory evacuation orders remain in place along Scott River Road from Flat Bridge to the intersection of Highway 96 and all areas south of Highway 96 between Scott River Road and Cade Summit.

Advisory evacuations are in affect for areas north of Highway 96, between Scott River Road and Grider Creek.

As of Monday morning, over 2,400 personnel were fighting the blaze from all over the country.

"We have crews from Alaska, we have crews from the New England states, and everything in between," Public Information Officer Dave Schmitt said. "We've got some folks from Florida and just about every state you can imagine."

The fire is made up of several other fires sparked by lightning strikes on August 11. Firefighters expect to have the blaze contained by September 8.
