Happy Camp Complex Fire burns 100,000 acres

United States Forest Service Officials say the Happy Camp Complex Fires have now burned more than 100,000 acres.

The fire burning in Klamath National Forest has now burned 103,814 acres and is 30 percent contained.

The fire broke out nearly four weeks ago and forced the evacuation of some 700 homes, two structures have been reportedly damaged or destroyed. The evacuation advisory has been lifted, but anyone traveling in the area should expect delays through parts of an 11-mile section from Hamburg to Horse Creek. Traffic may be stopped if conditions warrant. Scott River Road is closed from Hwy 96 to Bridge Flat.
