Halloween at Historic Hawes Farms

There are many farms transforming into a Halloween destination, including Historic Hawes Farms in Anderson.

According to its website, it is open for a variety of activities:

Hawes Haunt

Open Friday and Saturday nights/

Friday hours: 7-10 p.m. (Last ticket sold at 10 p.m.)

Saturday hours: 7-11 p.m. (last ticket sold at 11 p.m.)

Other attractions:

-General Admission $5.00 (Fri-Sat nights for band cover charge)
-Field of Screams & Zombie Paintball Ride – $20.00(includes General Admission)
-VIP Field of Screams & Zombie Paintball Ride – $35.00 (front of line for all haunted events)
-Paintballs are extra, none given with ride. Paintball price: 50 for $10, 100 for $15, 150 for $20 and 200 for $25.

For families:

Every Thursday in October (5-8 p.m.) and Fridays (5-8 p.m.)

Admission $5 per person above age three.

Activities include:
Corn Maze, visit the Pumpkin Patch (pumpkins extra), Zip Line, Ole Jumpin’ Jake, Lil’ Mavericks Barnyard & Livery Stable (Tricycles, Swings & Slides, Jumbo Wooden Train & Tractor, Corn Box), Spider Web, Volley Ball, Pumpkin Teeter Ball, Rubber Duck Races, Towering Goat Walk, and enjoy Dancing under the Stars.
