LOS ANGELES (AP) - Mourners plan to gather in Los Angeles for a man who was struck by a truck driven by former rap mogul "Suge" Knight.

Funeral services for Terry Carter are scheduled for noon on Saturday at First AME Church.

The 55-year-old Carter died and another man was injured on Jan. 29 when Knight's pickup truck hit them outside a burger stand in Compton.

Knight drove off but surrendered the next day.

Prosecutors say Knight deliberately hit the men after a fight but Knight's current and former lawyers call it an accident. They say the Death Row Records founder was attacked and fled in fear.

Knight has pleaded not guilty to murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run. He's due back in court on Monday for a bail-review hearing.
