A math and science teacher were taped to the wall at Marsh Junior High School Monday.
It was all part of the school's California Junior Scholarship Federation Chapter fundraiser that had students placing pennies in the jars of their favorite teacher.
In the end, Carrie McGarr and Brad Armstrong were the big winners, although they said they aren't sure if students supported them because they are popular or because they give a lot of homework.
The entire event was a fundraiser for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Pennies for Patients.
Although the students are still counting the last few pennies, they say they raised at least $200.
