IHOP's National Pancake Day Fundraiser is Tuesday and participating restaurants nationwide are offering guests a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes.
All the restaurant asks is that in return guests consider leaving a donation for the Children's Miracle Network Hospital.
This is the 10th year IHOP has offered free short stacks to help sick children. The organization hopes to raise a total of $3 million for charities this year. Last year, IHOP restaurants served 4.2 million pancakes on National Pancake Day and pancake lovers donated nearly $3 million to children's charities.
The IHOP restaurant at 2495 Hilltop Drive in Redding, and 2040 Business Lane in Chico will be dishing out free pancakes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday.
