Neal Forrest King was reported missing on March 29 by his girlfriend. According to a Butte County Sheriffs press release, the 24-year-old was last seen at 4001 Hildale Ave in Oroville on March 26. The press release stated King was meeting a person there for a business transaction involving marijuana. King has not been seen or heard from since.
The Butte County Sheriff detectives have been actively investigating this case and have served multiple search warrants in Butte County. Based on the information they have gathered, it is now believed that foul play is involved with King's disappearance.
King is believed to have been in the Berry Creek area of Butte County when he was last seen alive. He was described as wearing blue jeans, a light green thermal long sleeve shirt and brown hiking boots. King is roughly 5'11'', 120 pounds, green eyes and very short red hair.
