Former Red Bluff councilmember Raymond Eliggi dies at 73

Former Red Bluff City Councilmember Raymond Eliggi has passed away at the age of 73.

Eliggi who was appointed to the council in 2013, resigned in October citing health reasons. A celebration of life ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday January 10 at the North Valley Baptist Church, 345 David Avenue in Red Bluff.

According to an obituary published in the Red Bluff Daily News, Eliggi was born in Santa Rosa and served in the U.S. Army after he graduated from high school. Eliggi moved to Red Bluff in 2007 and became very active in the community, volunteering with the Greener Cleaner Red Bluff group and then serving on the city council.
