A former Paradise police officer already facing a charge of involuntary manslaughter in the Thanksgiving Day shooting of suspected drunken driver Andrew Thomas has been arrested again.

Patrick feaster has been arrested for being drunk and disorderly in public. It's an arrest that could impact the terms of his release.

Neighbors living on a quiet street in central Chico say early Sunday morning there was a ruckus

According to Chico Police call logs someone reported hearing an argument around 3am.

Witnesses said they saw two men, who turned out to be Feaster, and his younger brother Timothy leaning against a truck that didn't belong to them and their truck blocking a neighbor's driveway.

So neighbors said they called 911. One neighbor said she didn't really understand the conversation, it was really loud, and police were called to the scene.

Chico police officers arrived and determined both parties were too inebriated to be driving anywhere and no one would admit to driving the vehicle.

The two Feaster brothers were arrested for disorderly conduct while intoxicated which is a misdemeanor, and they will not be charged in the case.

According to Butte County District Attorney Mike Ramsey with this new arrest, the judge overseeing Feaster's involuntary manslaughter case could increase his bail or add conditions to his release, like no drinking.

Feaster is due in court tomorrow for the involuntary manslaughter charge where he is expected to enter a plea.
