For the second straight year, former Paradise High star wide receiver Jeff Maehl has made the Philadelphia Eagles 53-man roster.

The former Bobcat and Oregon Duck had a solid preseason, catching eight balls for 103 yards in three games. His best game came against the Jets on Thursday, when he caught four balls for 84 yards.

Among those released were kicker Alex Henery, cornerbacks Curtis Marsh and Roc Carmichael, both of whom were on the 2013 roster, running backs Matthew Tucker and Henry Josey, and wide receiver Damaris Johnson.
