Not only did former Chico State golfer Kyle Souza earn his 2015 PGA TOUR China Series' playing privileges, he also finished ahead of every golfer in the tournament.
Souza birdied three holes on the back nine of CTS Tycoon Golf Club's D&Y Course to win China's Second Global Qualifying Tournament by a stroke on Friday.
PGA TOUR China also awarded 12 other top finishers with China Series playing privileges.
Souza was the lone player in the field to fire four par-or-better rounds in securing his card. His round scores were 72, 69, 72 and 71. For the week he only made eight bogeys, two each day.
With his PGA Tour China card in tow, Souza is eligible to compete in the country's 13-tournament event set to begin in April and end in November.
