Today is the first significant rainfall in two months.
You're not going to find a lot of teeing off on local golf courses, playing on playgrounds.
The slippery conditions don't seem to bother most Chicoans; it's been a couple months.
And in downtown Chico, and the neighboring Chico State campus, rain doesn't halt movement.
And there's no shortage of movement at the B-Line bus stop on the fringe of campus.
And apparently, no shortage of "selfie" pictures in the rain either.
“I was on my way to school this morning, I go to Butte College, and posted a picture of myself saying first wet day of the semester and many more to come,” Kimberly Silva said.
Many more days like this to come, is something Colin Davis wouldn't mind:
“Love it! I missed it. I’m from Washington. It's what I'm all about,” Davis said.
Same goes for anyone who knows the plight of the farmer:
“It makes me really excited for all those ag people out there, getting that rain on their crops,” Lia Vanegmond said.
