Firefighters making progress on Trinity County blazes

Fire officials say crews in Trinity County are making progress in their fight against the Fork, South and River Complex fires, which have now burned a combined 90,000 acres.

The Fork Complex Fire has grown to 33,473 acres and is 53 percent contained, while the South Complex Fire in the Hyampom area has now burned nearly 21,000 acres and is 35 percent contained.

The River Complex near Denny has grown to 39,445 acres and containment is at 18 percent.
