Cal Fire has contained a grass fire that burned a travel trailer and threatened a mobile home park at Highway 70 and Palermo Roads this afternoon .
It started just after four o'clock and threatened the Dingerville Mobile Home Park south of Oroville. It also burned some construction equipment parked for the Highway 70 widening project.
That fire came on the heels of a fire that destroyed a mobile home and five acres on View Lane off of Oregon Gulch Road north of Oroville.
That fire was reported at three oclock, and was contained with help from three air tankers, a helicopter, and 90 firefighters.
Their were no injuries in either blaze.
Crews will remain on the scenes of both fires for several more hours this evening for mop-up, to make sure they're fully extinguished.
They will also investigate the causes.###
