Fire Danger Remains Elevated Through Labor Day

Dispite slightly improved conditions today, fire danger will remain elevated through the holiday weekend. Temperatures will cool off by about 3 degrees for your Friday afternoon, and the humidity levels will be higher than yesterday. However, moderate winds, and dry fuels are still a big concern for the north state through the weekend.

Hotter temperatures, and lower humidity values will return for the beginning of next week. Please stay safe over the Labor Day Weekend, and take extra precautions if you start a fire while camping.
