It was another warm day around the North State today, but we're going to cool down and cloud up tomorrow. A few showers are possible as well!
Low pressure off the southern California coast is pulling subtropical moisture northward at the moment... rather unusual for January. This moisture will surge northward overnight, and give us a chance of a shower or two on Tuesday... but not much. Since this is subtropical moisture, snow levels will be very high, at least 7000'.
The clouds linger into Wednesday (and even Thursday somewhat), but the chance of rain does not. The sun will return later Thursday, and by Friday through the weekend look for lots of sun. A breezy north wind will warm us up a bit on Friday, then high pressure really strengthens over the weekend and we'll see Valley highs in the 70's yet again! Warm weather to watch the Super Bowl this Sunday.
