We enjoyed plenty of sunshine around the North State today, but a couple of weak storms will bring us a chance of a few showers over the next couple of days.
It was a sunny & cool start to our week, but changes are coming. A weak storm will move in late tonight with a chance of a shower. It will be chilly when it arrives, so snow levels will be LOW! Down to around 2000' in the Sierra Nevada, and around 1500' in the Siskiyous. However... this is a very weak storm, and only a few light showers are possible. It might snow on the Ridge, but only a few flakes... not much.
A somewhat stronger storm will move in Wednesday afternoon/evening, but it doesn't look much stronger. It will be a bit warmer however, so snow levels should be closer to 3000' in the mountains. The Wednesday storm may produce a few hundredths of an inch of rain in the Valley, which is more than the Tuesday storm will.
After that, high pressure will build in over California. An occasionally breezy north wind will prevent any fog from forming in the Sacramento Valley. Valley highs will warm to near 60 by Friday, and near 70 by Super Bowl Sunday!
