Friday was another mostly sunny and warm day around the North State. We'll see big changes tomorrow, as an incoming Pacific storm should bring us a few showers!
An approaching storm cooled us down just a little today, but not much. This storm will thicken up the clouds overnight, and should bring us a few showers tomorrow in the Valley. Rainfall amounts look to be under .05" (so not much), although there is a slight chance of an afternoon thunderstorm. If you get caught under one of those, it would potentially bring a lot of rain in a short amount of time! But there's only a slight chance we'll see one. The mountains should see showers through the day, so expect higher rain totals up there, naturally. Valley highs will only be in the 70's. The scattered showers should end by Saturday evening.
Skies will turn mostly sunny by Sunday, but temperatures won't warm back up much. High pressure will strengthen a bit early next week, which will warm us up some... but a fairly dry storm will cool us back down by the end of next week. It could get breezy in the Valley both Tuesday and next Friday.
Finally... starting to feel like Fall!
