High clouds streamed across the North State this afternoon, but temperatures were still warm. Look for more clouds and warm weather Saturday before a little rain arrives Sunday!
Plenty of subtropical moisture is surging toward California from the Pacific, but ahead of all it warm weather remained over California. Those clouds will only thicken up tomorrow, but high temperatures should remain mild.
The heart of the moisture arrives Sunday. A disturbance will interact with this moisture as well, and should deliver us some wet weather... Although it won't be too much. Highest amounts will be near the Oregon border. This is also a warm system, so snow levels will be near 7000'.
Skies will turn partly cloudy on Monday as we dry up, and the last week of winter looks partly cloudy, dry, and mild. Spring starts next Friday... The Vernal Equinox is 3:45 pm Pacific Time.
