High pressure kept us sunny and warm again today, with highs around 10 degrees above average for this time of year. A north breeze dried the atmosphere out today, so fog shouldn't be an issue for the Sacramento Valley for the next couple of nights. High pressure will weaken by this weekend, and that will allow a couple of weak storms to try to bring us rain.
The first storm is due in on Friday, but doesn't look like much. We'll be lucky to get a shower. Saturday looks like a mix of sun and clouds, and another weak storm will try to move in on Sunday evening. That one also doesn't look like much... perhaps a brief shower.
Next week will start sunny again, with a bit of a breezy north wind in the Valley.
