FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) - Residents in Ferguson, Missouri, are hoping that a day of thanks will also be a day of peace.

Three days after it was announced that a grand jury would not indict a Ferguson police officer for the shooting death of Michael Brown, residents and business owners are cleaning up from the violent protests that followed.

Meanwhile, one restaurant owner says it was protesters who helped protect his business during Monday night's chaos, when a dozen commercial buildings were burned to the ground.

Jerome Jenkins says the looters and other criminals were not protesters.
