It was another beautiful day around the North State on Friday... And it looks like more of the same for the weekend! Perhaps a bit cooler next week, but not a whole lot.
Friday the 13th turned out to be not that unlucky for us, at least in the weather department. A few high clouds during the day didn't hurt high temperatures as they were well above average for this time of year... again. Those high clouds are from a storm offshore which will be moving to our north, because of strong high pressure over California. We should see them again tomorrow, then pure sunshine by Sunday.
A light north breeze this weekend (our version of the Santa Ana winds) will help warm us up. Look for Valley and Ridge highs in the 70's, with mountain highs in the 60's. High pressure will weaken some next week, but temperatures will still be above average. A weak storm may bring us some clouds towards the end of next week, but it's still not looking like any kind of rain is coming our way then.
Happy Valentine's Day!
