A scary opening weekend for football fans after two people were injured following a fall at the Colts-Raiders game in Indianapolis. According to a release from Lucas Oil Stadium, the fans fell onto the Raiders' field tunnel as members of the team were exiting the field. Officials say one fan was checked out at Lucas Oil and released. The other fan was taken to the hospital as a precaution for evaluation. The injuries did not appear to be serious. While Lucas Oil Stadium says it's still investigating the incident, a season ticket holder says the fans were leaning against the railing and it collapsed.
Meanwhile, San Francisco police say a fan fell from an elevated walkway and was killed at San Francisco's Candlestick Park during the 49ers-Green Bay Packers game. Witnesses tell police the man appeared intoxicated when he fell. Off-duty medics and police officers gave him first aid until an ambulance arrived, but the man was declared dead from his injuries.
