Family offers reward in Marysville murder investigation

The Booth family is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the murder of Gloria Booth in Marysville.

The Marysville Police Department said they are working closely with the Booth family. A tip hotline was created for this investigation and asks anyone with information to please call immediately. The tip hotline number is 530-749-3911.


An investigation is underway after a 92-year-old Marysville woman was found shot to death in her kitchen Monday afternoon.

Marysville police responded to the 400 block of East 25th Street around 4 p.m. Monday, after family members of Gloria Booth found her body. The family told authorities they hadn’t heard from Booth since Saturday.

While investigating, a Yuba County sheriff’s deputy found a bullet wound on Booth’s body and ruled the death suspicious.

The Marysville Police Department is handling the investigation and anyone with information is asked to come forward. Anonymous tips can be submitted using the department’s mobile app.
