Falling tree injures man in Plumas National Forest

A man working on a tree falling operation was seriously injured when he was h it by a falling tree in the Plumas National Forest Saturday morning.

It happened at 10:18 a.m. in the Bald Rock Road area of Butte County.

A Cal Fire dispatcher said the man's abdomen was punctured by a tree branch, but medical aid was provided at the scene and he was stable when he was airlifted out to Enloe Medical Center.

The victims identity was unavailable. ###
