Extremely hot, and very dry conditions are ahead for the north state in your Monday forecast. Temperatures are expected to hit, or surpass the century mark in every city of the valley today, and mountain locations will climb into the mid 90's to low triple digits.
Humidity levels will be similar to yesterday, with many areas dropping to around 25%. The good news is that winds do not look to be very strong, and that will limit the spread of fires in the region.
More moisture will arrive in the area over the next few days, and that will increase the risk of thunderstorms in the mountains. There will also be a very slight chance of thunderstorms in the valley on Wednesday.
Temperatures will stay hot for the remainder of the week, but not as hot as today's high temperatures. I hope everyone stays safe in the heat, and has a marvelous Monday!
