Upper level low pressure off the central California coast kicked up a nice delta breeze today, which cooled much of the Valley... especially the southern half. This low will slide into southern California on Wednesday, but will continue to kick up a nice delta breeze for the rest of the week. It sparked a few mountain thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon, but when it slides into southern California Wednesday, that will take the thunderstorm threat with it.
High pressure will slowly return this weekend, but temperatures will be slow to recover. Overall, pretty nice August weather is on the way!
