Electrocuted Crow Causes 1/2 Acre Vegetation Fire

According to the Chico Fire Department, firefighters were called to a blaze south of Chico around 10:30am Saturday morning. When they arrived, the discovered that the flames were threatening the PG&E substation on the Midway. Cal Fire and Chico firefighters responded, and managed to keep the flames from spreading. When they were looking for the cause of the fire, they discovered a burned, electrocuted black crow at the source.
