Fire officials say overnight precipitation has kept the Eiler Fire at 31,085 acres burned and 35 percent contained, but the fire behavior could increase due to possible thunderstorms this afternoon.
Firefighters continue to make great progress, strengthening control lines and mopping up hot spots around the fire perimeter.
Crews will continue patrolling the affected areas to assure residents are able to re-occupy their homes in a safe manner.
All evacuations were lifted Tuesday around 2 p.m., but a few road closures remain in effect.
• Highway 89 from Cassel road to Highway 44 is open to residents only
• No commercial traffic allowed on Highway 89 from Highway 299 to Highway 44
