Durham American Legion to serve up Corned Beef Dinner

The Durham American Legion is cooking up 800 pounds of Corned Beef and hundreds of pounds of cabbage, carrots and potatoes for it's 59th annual Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner on Saturday, March 19th.

It will be served between 4:30 and 7:30 pm at the Veteran's Memorial Hall on the Midway. You can dine in, or take out as there will be drive-through service available.

The American Legion donates profits from the dinner to local causes like Little League, Sending local youth to Boys State, the Veteran's Resource Center in Chico that helps homeless Veterans and a medical equipment loan program.

The dinner includes all you can eat Corned Beef & Cabbage, as well as desert and beverages. Beer and wine are also available. The cost is $20 for adults, $10 for children 5-12 and it's free for children 4 and under.
