Friday was another day of wet weather around the North State, but warmer and drier weather will move in this weekend!
Today was our third day in a row of Valley rain and mountain snow. Most areas in the Valley saw 3 day totals between 1/2" and 1" of rain, with plenty of fresh powder for the mountains, but this will be our last storm for a while. High pressure will build over the west coast, and send the storm track northward for a while. Temperatures will slowly warm back up to near 70 in the Valley by Monday, and stay there for most of next week.
Long range models indicate our next storm will arrive next Friday/Saturday. Until then, enjoy the warmer and drier weather!
