Cooler temperatures, and partly cloudy skies are returning to the north state. Temperatures are starting out in the low to mid 40's for the valley, low to mid 20's in the Northern Sierra, and mid 30's in the Northern Mountains. Afternoon high temperatures will climb into the mid 60's to low 70's in the valley, and into the mid 50's to mid 60's in the mountains. Sunny skies are ahead for your morning, but partly cloudy conditions will return to the region this afternoon. Winds will be modest today, with sustained winds to around 10mph out of the Southeast in the valley.
More clouds will arrive in your Wednesday forecast, but showers are looking to hold off until Wednesday night. The chance of wet weather will extend from Wednesday night, through Friday morning. Temperatures will also continue to cool through Thursday, with low 60's in the valley. Cloudy, but dry conditions are ahead for your weekend, but there will be another chance of showers ahead for early next week. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday, and all of you veterans out there feel appreciated on your big day! Veterans, thank you for your service.
