Mostly to partly cloudy skies, and warmer temperatures are ahead for the north state in your Thursday forecast. The warming trend arrives today, leaving many areas of the north state topping out around ten degrees warmer than yesterday. Valley areas have dipped into the low to mid 40's this morning, and mountain areas are starting out in the low to mid 30's for most cities. Afternoon high temperatures are projected to climb into the mid to high 50's in the valley, and into the high 30's to high 40's in the mountains. Winds will be up to 10mph out of the Northwest, and humidity values will fall to around 50 percent this afternoon.
Temperatures will continue to warm over the next several days, and clouds will continue to thin out through the weekend. There will be a slight chance for showers brushing the Northwest corner of the state late Friday night into early Saturday morning, but that looks to be about it. Mostly sunny skies, and low to mid 60's are expected in the valley on Saturday. Sunny skies, and high temperatures in the low to mid 70's will be ahead for Super Bowl Sunday! The warm, and sunny weather will continue through the middle of next week. I hope everyone is ready for the warmer conditions to return, and has a great Thursday!
