Above average temperatures, and dry conditions will continue to impact the north state in your Thursday Farmcast. There will be a very modest drop in high temperatures this afternoon thanks to a trough of low pressure heading into the Pacific Northwest. Areas closer to the Delta will have more influence from the Delta Breeze, but the entire valley should have high temperatures falling short of Wednesday's. There will also be some high clouds tracking through the region today, but any chance of showers will stay well to the North.
Temperatures are starting out in the mid 60's to low 70's in the valley, and are projected to climb into the mid to high 90's. Winds are expected to be between 10 to 15mph out of the South, and humidity values will stay between 15 to 20 percent this afternoon. Your Thursday morning sunrise is set for 5:39am, and sunset will be at 8:38pm.
Conditions won't chance much on Friday, but hotter temperatures will return on Saturday. Temperatures will then dip into the low to mid 90's again by Monday, and return to the high 90's to low triple digits on Wednesday. There's plenty of sunshine ahead in your extended forecast to go along with the roller coaster of temperatures heading through the region over the next week.
