A man was killed Sunday night after his vehicle left the road, rolling over, and landing on its roof.

The 57-year-old unidentified male was driving eastbound on Loleta Avenue in Corning when his vehicle drifted onto the right shoulder.

The driver attempted to over correct and lost control of the 2002 Chevy Prism. The car left the road and rolled, landing in the front yard of a home on the 24000 block of Loleta Ave.

The driver was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene of the accident.

Police said there is no indication of whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the accident.
