Marigold Elementary School parents have set up a GoFundMe page to help alleviate some of the financial hardships resulting from recent burglaries.

Thousands of dollars in electronics were stolen from Marigold Elementary School during two burglaries on Saturday January 24 and Sunday January 25.

Thieves reportedly broke into classrooms by smashing in windows and then stole three Acer Notebooks, two laptops, three iPads, two walkie-talkies, and a digital camera. School district officials estimate the total loss to be about $3,000. They also believe the cost of replacing the 10 or so broken windows to be close to $1,000.

Marigold was damaged again last week when vandals broke the window of a second grade classroom.

Money raised from the GoFundMe account will go towards replenishing stolen supplies. To donate click here.
