Sacramento Kings Forward Derrick Williams is in Redding this week, holding his annual skills academy camp.
Williams and other coaches are helping dozens of kids between the ages of 5 and 17 improve their basketball skills. The camp, which is taking place at University Prep and Shasta High School, started Monday and runs through Thursday.
It's now the third year in a row Williams has held the camp in Redding, thanks to his connection with U-Prep girls basketball coach Steven Schuster.
Last season Williams averaged 8.3 points and 2.7 rebounds per game for the Kings. Watch the video for more.
