Two people suspected of tying up an employee and then robbing the Lake Shastina Mini Mart at gunpoint have been arrested by Siskiyou County sheriff's deputies.
Anthony Gerald Parsons, 25, of Idaho and a female juvenile companion were arrested Monday morning when an alert sheriff's deputy spotted the Dodge pickup spotted near the June 26 robbery.
According to the sheriff's office, Parsons and the juvenile entered the Lake Shastina Mini Mart on Big Springs Road last Friday and proceeded to tie up an employee then rob the register.
Parsons is being transported to the Siskiyou County Jail in Yreka where he is expected to be charged with armed robbery, theft, burglary, assault with a deadly weapon, weapons-related charges, and auto theft. The female juvenile is being held at the Charlie Byrd Juvenile Youth Correction Center on similar charges.
