Shasta County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man in Burney after receiving reports that he was possibly armed and dangerous. The man deputies were looking for is Jason Wilson, 39. Wilson had three outstanding warrants and local residents claimed he had been seen displaying a firearm. A little before 7 p.m. last night, deputies spotted Wilson driving a white van and tried to pull him over. He failed to stop and led deputies on a short pursuit before pulling into a housing complex on Park Avenue just off Highway 299 in Burney. Authorities say Wilson was uncooperative and had to be physically subdued before being taken into custody. While searching his vehicle deputies found a 12 gauge shotgun.
