Daytona Beach authorities work to enforce alcohol ban

Bike Week may be over, but Daytona Beach still has a lot of visitors.

Spring breakers have arrived in far greater numbers than anyone expected. Daytona Beach hasn't seen these kinds of spring break crowds since the late 1990s, when the city stopped promoting to college students because of problems associated with the break. Now they're seeing some of those same problems resurface.

Beer was flowing like a river Tuesday, but in some cases, the suds were soaking into the sand as beach safety officers enforced the 'no alcohol on the beach' law.
