Darren Trueblood has announced his resignation after thirteen seasons as head football coach at Enterprise High School.
Trueblood had a ton of success guiding the Hornets, finishing with an overall record of 105-47, the most wins by any coach in program history.
He led the Hornets to four northern section titles, highlighted by the 2013 season, in which Enterprise advanced all the way to the Div-II state championship after defeating Manteca in the NorCal Division II bowl game.
Despite the success though, Trueblood says it was the right time to leave the sidelines. He will remain with the school serving as a U.S. History teacher. There's no word yet on who his replacement will be.
