As the investigation into the fatal shooting of a 92-year-old Marysville woman continues, recently obtained court records shed new light on her death.

Family members of Gloria Booth found her body in the kitchen of her home on East 25th Street when they went to check on her last Monday.

Court records obtained by Action News Now say Booth had a bullet wound to the back of her head, and that she appeared to have been in the middle of cleaning.

The records also reveal that nothing of value appeared to have been taken from Booth’s home.

The Marysville Police Department has ruled Booth’s death suspicious, but are not calling it homicide at this time.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the Marysville Police Department at 530-749-3900.
