MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - An ex-convict charged in the fatal shooting of a police officer during a confrontation on a Memphis street is set to make a court appearance.

Shelby County court records show 29-year-old Tremaine Wilbourn is set to appear before a judge in a video arraignment Wednesday.

Police say Wilbourn turned himself in Monday, ending a manhunt following the death of 33-year-old Officer Sean Bolton on Saturday night. He's being held on $9 million bond.

Police say Wilbourn was a passenger in a 2002 Mercedes Benz that was parked illegally and Bolton interrupted a drug deal when he shined a spotlight on the vehicle.

Police say Bolton and Wilbourn got into a physical struggle. Police say Wilbourn took out a gun and fired, striking Bolton multiple times.
