"We just want to remind the public that Cort is still missing, that he is important, that we love him...."

Cort Jones' parents, pleading for any details surrounding the disappearance of their son.

"If somebody has some information, come forward with it. I mean, it's been three years, it's time to get the information, time to find Cort, get a resolve to this," said his dad, Dave Tipton.

August 16 marks three years since he was last seen by his mother, Sandra Dietrich, as he was entering a residence at 745 Joaquin Way in Redding.

She recalls the last conversation she ever had with him.

"He said, 'Mom, can you come pick me up?' And I said, 'Sure, where are you going to be?' And he said, 'You'll see me walking down Joaquin Avenue,' and that was the last I heard my son's voice," Dietrich said.

When she arrived, the residents in the home told her that Cort had already left.

He hasn't been seen since.

Struggling with the lack of promising leads, his family has taken comfort in all the people who have shown support.

"I think that really means a lot to know that the community is still caring, and they do still share his flyers. And perfect strangers have made it clear that there's a lot of love out there," Dietrich said.

Shasta County Secret Witness is offering a $8,700 reward for information leading to answers that Cort's family so desperately needs.

"We're just hoping someone will come forward with information with what happened to him that day, on August 16, 2012, where we can find him now, just to give our family a little peace," Dietrich said.
