The Tehama County Coroner's Office has identified the two men killed in a rural Tehama County crash Tuesday evening.
31-year-old Israel Aguilar, of Red Bluff, and 31-year-old Jeremiah Matlock, of Corning, were both killed when the Chevy pickup truck they were traveling in lost control on Hall Road around 6:30 p.m. The truck reportedly flipped several times and then caught fire.
A witness pulled the driver, Matlock, from the wreck but it was too late, Aguilar was stuck in the wreckage as the truck became fully engulfed in flames.
California Highway Patrol officials say the truck was traveling at speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour when it crashed.
