Cooler temperatures, increasing clouds, and the potential for precipitation are all ahead for your Tuesday Farmcast. Temperatures in the valley have dipped into the mid 60's to low 70's overnight, and are only expected to climb into the low to mid 90's this afternoon. Winds will be out of the South to 10mph, and humidity values will dip to between 35 to 45 percent. The potential for showers, and isolated thunderstorms will return to the lower elevations this afternoon, and evening. The best chance for active weather in the valley will be in Shasta County.
Temperatures will continue to cool through Thursday, before a modest rebound this weekend. The potential for active conditions will mostly be in the late afternoon and early evenings over the next 3 days. Valley high temperatures will drop to the low to mid 80's by Thursday, and will only rebound into the low to mid 90's this weekend. The chance of wet weather tapers off Thursday night.
