Cooling Trend Arrives In The Region Today!

Slightly cooler temperatures, a nice South breeze, and some thin clouds are ahead for the north state in your Tuesday forecast. Temperatures have dipped into the mid 50's to low 60's in the valley overnight, and into the high 30's to high 40's in the mountains. Those low temperatures are much cooler than they were on Monday, and afternoon high temperatures are also projected to be cooler. Valley areas will only climb into the mid to high 80's this afternoon, and mountain areas will be in the high 70's to low 80's later today. Winds will be out of the Southeast up to around 10mph, and humidity values will be slightly higher than yesterday. A deepening marine layer, increasing onshore flow, and stronger Delta Breeze will all help to leave the region with cooler conditions today.

Temperatures will be even cooler on Wednesday, with high temperatures currently projected to climb into the high 70's to low 80's in the valley, and into the low to mid 70's in the higher elevations. Not much change in temperatures on Thursday, but there will be more clouds tracking through the region.

Low pressure moves off to the East on Friday as high pressure rebuilds across the Southwest. That will leave the region with a swift rebound in temperatures. Valley areas will jump back into the high 80's to mid 90's for the valley on Friday, but cooler conditions will return for the weekend. Low pressure will drop down into the Pacific Northwest , and will extend into the north state. Temperatures will fall back into the high 70's to low 80's for the valley on Sunday. I hope everyone is happy about the cooler temperatures on the way, and has a great Tuesday!
