It was a hot start to our week... But a cooldown is coming. Look for a slight chance of a shower Friday as well.
High temperatures were a bit cooler today... but we still saw highs in the middle and upper 80's in the Valley today. An approaching storm will weaken high pressure tomorrow, which will allow our temperatures to cool around 5 degrees, and bring in a few clouds. We saw a few thunderstorms in Trinity County Monday afternoon, and a few more could develop Tuesday afternoon there.
An approaching storm will split before it gets to us on Wednesday, leaving us with just partly cloudy skies. Another very weak storm will move through us on Friday, kicking up a few scattered showers... but not much at all. But these weak storms will keep our high temperatures much closer to average than they have been recently... look for Valley highs mainly in the 70's this week.
