Cooler weather arrived today around the North State today, and we're not done... even cooler weather is coming later this week!
High pressure is breaking down, and a nice delta breeze kicked up today... both cooling us down. We'll see more of the same tomorrow.
Cold low pressure from the Gulf of Alaska will arrive late Wednesday, cooling us down even further! It should spark scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms in the mountains both Wednesday and Thursday, but the Valley should be mainly dry... just partly to mostly cloudy skies by Thursday.
The low will kick to the east on Friday, and we'll see our temperatures warm back up some... but still not too hot for this upcoming weekend.
Long range models are bringing a new low close to us by early next week, which should again keep our temperatures in check. Looks like we're getting a break from the truly hot weather for a while!
