It was another hot and unsettled day around northern California, but relief is on the way. Temperatures are looking much better in just a few days!
The remnants of Hurricane Dolores continue to rotate off the southern California coast, bringing us plenty of humidity and sparking afternoon thunderstorms in the mountains. An incoming disturbance will push this moisture eastward over the next couple of days, and break high pressure down nicely, so that our temperatures drop well below normal by the end of this week! They'll rebound to about average for July by the weekend, and stay there for the beginning of next week.
Overall, our weather is looking much improved and rather comfortable for July by the end of this week!
